Training offer

Poly mechanic

There is a multitude of job opportunities for poly mechanics. The growing use of mechanical and technical processing does not simply help in the fabrication of high-quality products and the appropriate conduct of repairs, but also provides many jobs for well-trained specialists.

Without mechanics, economic progress is impossible. They are needed for running every type of machine so that they work on a reliable basis. Moreover, they prepare necessary steel constructions. The work as a poly mechanic is highly comprehensive and offers a lot of variety.

Whereas the metalworking is primarily occupied with fabricating structures such as doors and furniture, the mechanical part by means of reparation and production of machine components guarantees the correct working of economic production in the country. Therefore, poly mechanics take an essential role in the development of the country by providing the basic conditions for efficient and effective work.

Among the main tasks of a poly mechanics are:

  • Cutting and connecting steel parts
  • Fabrication of steel constructions (e.g. furniture, doors and windows)
  • Planning and production of machine components
  • Analysis and repair of defect machines

For a total of 4 years students get comprehensive training in the field of poly mechanics. For this, they receive theoretical and practical lessons the two fields of metal construction and mechanics.

In the course of various internal projects and customer demands students can use their acquired skills and constantly improve their abilities.

Thanks to vast number of machines in CFL for different processes you will gain experience in all of the integral aspects of metalworking and fabrication of pieces and will be able to apply them in practice.

The subject-specific focuses of the training are

  • Metal theory (properties of substances like aluminium, iron and steel)
  • Mathematics (Calculation of surfaces and volumes)
  • Construction technique (Fabrication of windows, doors, gates, furniture and scaffoldings)
  • Metal processing (Measuring, cutting, welding)
  • Production of components (Measuring, grinding, milling, drilling, turning)
  • Analysis of defects on machines and components
  • Technical drawing
