Mason

Bricklayers are needed at any time and in any place in the world. In Benin, the demand for well-constructed private houses is growing due to the rapid increase in the population. And well-trained bricklayers are also needed for public buildings and structures or factories. The very poor housing in Benin is often not constructed in a safe and durable manner.

Skilled masons help to build infrastructure that enables individuals to live safely and more comfortably, and help the country as a whole to provide the buildings needed to strengthen industry, public organization and healthcare.

To do this, it is necessary to master the use of all available building materials such as cement, clay, earth and stone so that beautiful and livable buildings can be constructed that protect residents and provide optimal conditions for workers.

The main tasks of a mason are:

  • Construction of buildings and other structures
  • Production of building materials from various materials
  • Creation of foundations for buildings
  • Production and use of formwork
  • Plastering of building surfaces
  • Road construction

For the mason apprenticeship, you will receive 3 years of theoretical and practical training in the art of construction and building technology. You will learn to master various building materials and the construction of different types of buildings and building forms. You will be able to apply and expand your skills on various projects.

We are constantly working on construction sites at the center or on constructions for external customers, for whom we construct various buildings. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will be able to construct stable and beautiful buildings precisely, neatly and quickly.

  • Construction site planning and use of tools
  • Safety and health protection at work
  • Production of bricks of different shapes from various materials
  • Production of components from concrete, cement, earth, stones
  • Production and use of formwork
  • Plastering buildings
  • Renovation and maintenance of buildings
